Parks and Recreation Board

The Park & Recreation Board is comprised of representatives of the following parks:

Allencrest, Cementon (Victor Talotta Park), Fullerton , Egypt , Hokendauqua, Schadt Avenue (Zephyr Park), Stiles and West Catasauqua.

Meetings will be held the following months in 2026:
July, September and November

Meetings will be held the following months in 2027:
January, April, July and October

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the
Whitehall Township Municipal Building,
3219 MacArthur Road.

Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• To serve as an advisory group to the Board of Commissioners and the Township Mayor in matters relative to the township recreation program and the recreational needs of the residents.
• To assure that the administrative and legislative branches of township government are apprised of the respective associations' proceedings.

Members are recommended to the Board of Commissioners for appointment by each playground association.
